The Deutsches Textilmuseum Krefeld (German Textile Museum Krefeld) sees itself as a research institute. It is itself an initiator for research and cooperation projects, but also partners in joint projects. The research carried out at the museum always focuses on a textile topic that is examined and developed in an interdisciplinary manner. 
 

All research is the basis for exhibitions and related publications.
